I am a product of the Prince William County School System and I have spent my entire professional career here.  I taught in Manassas for two years and the rest of the time I have been at Bel Air.  My teaching experience includes first and second grade, but my passion is teaching Kindergarten.  I love the excitement that each new day brings and naturally all the smiles I see.  My desire is for every student to love coming to school each day and be just as excited as I am.  My children attended Prince William County Schools as well.  My husband is a curriculum supervisor for the county now, but he began his career as a teacher. Our son has not followed his parents down the education path.  He works for the Department of Homeland Security.  Our daughter, who is a student at James Madison University, is studying to become an elementary school teacher.
